Jenna (Goat)

Jenna

We rescued Jenna and her brother Roger, as well as dozens of other animals, from a neglectful backyard butcher operation in the Hudson Valley in collaboration with three other sanctuaries. The two young goats were extremely anemic and infested with parasites. Little did we know that their mother, Olive, was also on the property. After Olive was loaded onto a trailer for another sanctuary, she began to panic and slam the other goats, leading us to reunite her with her kids. Now, the reunited family is safe at our New York shelter where they can play and run around. Jenna loves to eat from the hay feeder, leaping into the middle and standing there while she eats. Here she will always find joy and contentment.

Our staff and volunteers fell in love with their sweet personalities, watching as they scampered around the barn and cuddled up with each other. Jenna loves to lead her siblings on adventures around the barn, exploring every nook and cranny. She is particularly fond of the hay feeder, where she can munch away contentedly and feel right at home. We are so thankful to have Jenna, her siblings, and their mom, Olive, in our care. They are a reminder of the power of love and family, and our commitment to providing forever homes for animals in need.
